The BIG BED factory specializes in the planning and manufacturing of mattresses, benches, mattress toppers, and hybrids. Founded in 1965, it remains a key player in the bedding industry.

The manufacturing process incorporates automated and semi-automated production lines. The metal line produces springs (Bonnel and pocketed), while the assembly line handles strips and panels. These components then go through three assembly lines, where the frameworks are dressed, edged, and packaged, giving rise to mattresses and sofas.

In terms of capacity, the factory achieves approximately 1000 mattresses per day in two shifts, with an internal production of 800 mattresses/day. For the sofa family, 1000 linear meters are produced/day in two shifts, with internal production reaching 800 meters/day. As for hybrids, the average production is 2 tons/day on a single shift.

Currently, the factory spans 22,000m² and employs 420 people in two shifts, optimizing its workforce through flexible production based on demand. Certified ISO 9001, this factory adheres to strict quality standards. In its efforts towards control and eco-responsibility, the factory engages external certification laboratories and incorporates the recycling of textile and foam scraps into its manufacturing process.

Its vision is aligned with a dynamic of continuous improvement, with projects such as the implementation of autonomous maintenance. In terms of future investments, there are plans to acquire embroidery machines, multi-needle machines, and assembly machines for pocketed springs to enhance production capacity and competitiveness in the international market.
